RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

RIFF Arts Institute & The Richmond International Film Festival

The idea of RAI was born out of the longstanding work being done year-round at the Richmond International Film Festival (RIFF).

RIFF is an annual international competitive festival in Richmond, Virginia that champions artists and provides platforms for the creative voice. The festival is one of the largest in the mid-Atlantic and brings a variety of film premieres, live music, panels, industry mixers, and community engagement during the six day event.

RAI and RIFF join hands each year at the festival to bring the FLOW Collective Conference, a range of industry panels, and the annual Youth & Community Outreach Day. The 2024 festival takes place September 24 - September 29. Featuring 150+ film premieres from 20 countries, 20+ live music performances, FLOW, and various special events for the community.
